Bee: Looks like anything between two "greater than/less than symbols" is interpreted as some weird HTML/CSS tag. So I've posted your comment without the closing symbols. - Manoj

dyslexic Kathakali dancer

Oh all this sounds far too familiar!! Only in my case, i beared the
'powdered' mask and my mom would run after me...;-)
And oh oh...much like you, i would 'conveniently' forget to drink my
glass of milk...and very often it would end up in our money plant...!
aaah...good post. nostalgic trip down memory lane.

I don't get it. Looks like it fails to accept the post excerpt you're trying to cut&paste into the comment section. Can you email it to me? Will try to figure out what the problem is.

I made a CD compilation recently with songs of the 80s. Not just vintage Raja, but also some Shankar-Ganesh hits, Gangai Amaran, the odd V.S.Narasimhan & Salil Choudhary. And playing it in the car on my way to work, reminded me of the ride to school. So, yeah...reason explained! :)
I listened to Radio Ceylon & Ameen Sayani too, but Vividh Bharathi in the morning reminded me of a lot more than just music...the early morning mad rush in my house, for example.

Why suddenly in Flash back mode? Anyway I also used to listen to Neyar Viruppam around 9am every morning. Cibaca / Binaca Geet Mala was also one of my favourites. I suppose, the radio which you have showcased here has S/W as well. I used to listen to ILANGAI VAANOLI as well.....not sure whether I used to catch them on S/W or AM. FM was non-existent in those days.
